PROBLEMS OF CONSTRUCTING CLOSED-CYCLE TECHNOLOGY FOR COPPER-PYRITE MINES UNDER WET CONSERVATION

 

Annotation. The structuring of the problems of constructing a closed-cycle technology for copper-pyrite mines under wet conservation is carried out. It is shown that the projected technological complex for the purification and neutralization of mine waters should be manageable to meet the quality requirements for commercial products released from sediments during the purification process under conditions of a substantially unsteady hydrochemical regime of mine water self-discharge. The proposed technological scheme for the processing of metal-bearing mine waters, working without dumping waste to be disposed of, includes two stages. The first stage, which makes it possible to purify mine water to the required degree and isolate solid insoluble sediment for further processing, is implemented in a mobile technological complex installed in places of self-discharge of mine waters. The second stage, which makes it possible to selectively isolate powders of individual metals, is implemented in a stationary complex using, for example, the method of centrifugal conversion using a plasma torch.
