ON CONDUCTING AND ORGANIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE FOR STUDENTS OF THE SPECIALTY “APPLIED GEOLOGY”

 

Annotation. The article deals with the realization of educational practice (a geodetic one) on the example of students of the specialty “Applied Geology”. The basic principles of planning, conducting and organization of this practice are given with the help of educational-laboratory complex of oil and gas geology of the Institute of Oil and Gas named after M.S. Gutseriev. The main purpose of geodetic practice is to consolidate the theoretical knowledge obtained by students in the course of training and to acquire practical skills of working with geodetic equipment. In the process of practice, students should acquire skills of working with geodetic tools, master the basic methods of measurements, calculations and graphical constructions used in the construction and operation of engineering structures. They also acquire the ability to analyze information and perform office processing of the results of geodetic measurements. All this allows students to master the relevant general professional competencies of the educational program at the basic and advanced levels.
