THE INVESTIGATION OF INDUSTRIAL SOLAR MODULES IN THE DIRECT AND REVERSE BRANCH OF THE VOLT-AMPERE CHARACTERISTIC IN PARTIAL SHADING

Annotation. The article discusses the situation of partial shadowing of the solar cells in module and its effect on power generation. A measuring device has been developed for automatic recording of the forward and reverse branches of the current-voltage characteristic (CVC) of a solar photovoltaic module based on the use of digital technology. Experiments with an industrial solar module were carried out at various shades of one and several solar cells. A significant effect of the characteristics of the return branch on the power generated by the solar module is shown.
