PROBLEMS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF SELECTIVE WASTE COLLECTION IN THE CITY OF YEKATERINBURG

Annotation. This article discusses and describes the problems of implementing separate waste collection in Yekaterinburg. Foreign experience in the implementation of selective collection and collection classification was studied. The causes of problems are considered. To project the full picture, Federal law No. 89-FZ of 24.06.1998 was studied, and methods for successfully introducing selective waste collection were described. The analysis is made, on the basis of which the conclusion is made about the future prospects of conducting this strategy in the territory of the city. Yekaterinburg: at the moment, to achieve the success of the strategy, it is necessary to adhere to the described methods. Otherwise, implementation actions will be ineffective, meaning the strategy will not work.
