EXTRACTION OF ULTRA-VISCOUS OILS WITH THE HELP OF MODERNIZED ROD SCREW PUMPS «METAL ON METAL»

 

Annotation. To date, many traditional oil fields in Russia, as well as in the Republic of Tatarstan, have passed into the last final stage of development. At the same time, the deposits of unconventional heavy oils have significantly large reserves, and the degree of their production is extremely small. It is not difficult to understand that in the 21st century the share of heavy oil production in the total volume of oil production will only grow. As a result, it is necessary to improve the technologies of their development. Already at the initial stages, it was clear that with the help of flooding, it is impossible to solve the problem of the maximum coefficient of oil recovery from reservoirs. This applies primarily to high-viscosity oils. In modern conditions, the extraction of bituminous oil using traditional technologies is impossible or unprofitable. Increasing the efficiency of the use of steam-heat exposure will allow achieving high technological and economic indicators for the development of bituminous oil, for the production of which steam-gravity drainage technologies are currently being industrially implemented in the fields of Tatarstan. However, the technology of steam-gravity drainage is economically effective on deposits with an oil-saturated thickness of more than 10 meters.
