Annotation. The article presents the results of the implementation of the regional project of the Sverdlovsk region «Integrated system for the management of municipal solid waste», associated with the actualization of the territorial scheme of waste management of production and consumption; commissioning of MSW processing facilities; provision of activities for the provision of communal services to the population for the management of solid municipal waste.

Key words: municipal solid waste, territorial scheme, infrastructure in the field of MSW management, landfills, dumps, waste sorting complexes, containers, separate accumulation of MSW.
