ASPHALTENE-RESIN-PARAFFIN DEPOSITS CONTROL IN BOTTOM-HOLE FORMATION ZONE

Annotation. A chemical method of asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD) control in the wells of the Bashkir object of the Chutyrsko-Kiengopsky field by carrying out acid treatments of the bottom-hole formation zone using a universal solvent EFRIL 317 (D) is considered in this article. Strong acids, such as hydrochloric acid, are water-soluble, strongly polar compounds, which do not interact with hydrophobic ARPD and therefore in the formations, which are not exposed to the ARPD solvent, acid compositions do not interact with the rock. The lack of interaction is due to the fact that the rock is coated with a layer of ARPD. Therefore, this chemical method will decrease the screening effect on the surface of the pore space and therefore increase the depth of the acid penetration into the formation and the degree of formation coverage.

Keywords: asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits, hydrocarbon solvents, hydrochloric acid treatment, bottom-hole formation zone treatment.
