THE USING OF THE COMPOSTING SITES IN MULTIFUNCTIONAL WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPLEXES
A.A. Zhezheria
Annotation. This article discusses one of the existing methods of waste management. Today the state is striving to modernize the waste management system in all territorial units. One of the nearest innovations is the design and construction of multifunctional complexes, including sorting lines, structural units for processing organic waste, the landfill body, as well as local treatment facilities designed to clean the generated surface wastewater and leachate from the landfill body. The author analyzed the design and technological features of one of such waste management complexes planned for construction in the 2023. In particular, the features of the use of membrane composting sites for the disposal of organic waste were considered, and their resource potential was assessed.
Key words: waste, composting, landfill, waste disposal, organic-mineral soil, waste management complex, biochemical treatment, pile, processing, disposal.
