SEPARATE WASTE COLLECTION – THE WAY TO THE RATIONAL USE OF SECONDARY MATERIAL RESOURCES

Abstract. The issues of solid municipal waste management are considered. It is shown that Russia is significantly inferior to advanced industrial countries in their use as secondary resources. The reason for the insufficient involvement of waste in the economic turnover is the system of their mixed collection, which complicates the subsequent species separation. The reform carried out in the country on separate waste collection should create conditions for the production of secondary materials from them.
