SOME ASPECTS OF ECOLOGICAL CULTURE OF POPULATION

 

Annotation. This scientific paper deals with the issues of the essence of ecological culture of the population, its interrelation with general culture of the population, the ways and means of increasing the level of ecological culture of the population. At the same time the article pays attention to the dependence of quality of life and results of realization of the right to health on the environmental behavior of population. The urgency of the chosen theme is caused by the growth of negative results of control and supervision bodies, judicial ecological disputes about compensation of environmental damage and bringing individual persons and organizations to legal responsibility due to violations of environmental legislation. Attention is paid to environmental volunteerism and eco-advertising, which are becoming part of the activities of the authorities at the federal and regional level, as well as included in the initiative activities of business entities. In addition, this study analyzes facts from the activities of the authorities and the activities of representatives of the creative professions, illustrating the implementation of environmental policies among the population. Ecological education is considered as an effective way to influence the consciousness of students, to instill positive habits in the field of ecology, to transmit knowledge about the rational use of nature. The author generally proposes a comprehensive solution to the problem of low ecological culture of the population.
