THE PROBLEM OF THE UTILIZATION OF ASSOCIATED PETROLEUM GAS ON THE EXAMPLE OF AN OIL FIELD IN THE UDMURT REPUBLIC

Annotation. The article deals with the problem of the utilization of associated petroleum gas (APG) in the oil and gas fields that are at a late stage of development. It is known that as part of the combustion products of associated gas, significant amounts of carbon dioxide, sulfur oxide and nitrogen, sometimes even mercury, and other components that negatively affect the natural environment enter the atmospheric air. The sources of an associated gas are mainly flare installations, which burn significant amounts of hydrocarbon gases. For an example the of one of the oil fields of Udmurtia, options for processing associated petroleum gas are shown. Possible options for using APG at the level of the 95% of the studied field are the transportation of associated gas to the installation of an oil treatment point "Mishkino" for further using and its injection into the reservoir to increase oil recovery. But in this version, it provides for the construction of a gas pipeline, and for pumping gas into the reservoir, it is necessary to build a gas purification plant from hydrogen sulfide and a booster plant. Therefore, it was revealed that the construction of the gas pipeline is not profitable for this oil field. To solve this problem, first of all, it is proposed to introduce a system of tax benefits. This system involves joint actions of the state and subsoil users to create an infrastructure for transport and APG processing, which will result in economic, energy and environmental efficiency.
