TRAINING PRACTICE IN MONITORING AS A KIND OF ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION WORK

Annotation. In the course of environmental education, students develop a new worldview, thinking, and an ecological culture of behavior. However, in order to make decisions on the implementation of environmental protection measures, it is also necessary to assess the state of the environment, which can be implemented through environmental monitoring. The article provides information on the specifics of the practice of environmental monitoring for students of the specialty "Ecology and Nature Management" at the Ural State Mining University. The main tasks solved by students during the practice are considered. The summary of the work carried out during the practice is given. Particular attention is paid to the identification of the main sources of environmental pollution on the territory of the practice, as well as to the specifics of describing these sources and determining the components of the environment experiencing their influence. The paper also provides some conclusions based on the results of monitoring of environmental components.
