THE PROBLEM OF DISPOSAL OF PLASTIC AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS AND WAYS OF ITS SOLUTION

Abstract. The article shows that every year the number of automobiles being decommissioned is growing. This proves the relevance of the problem of waste management of plastics used in their production. The types and properties of plastics used in car construction, as well as their advantages over metals, are considered. It is shown that plastic waste is a valuable industrial raw material and energy resource. Therefore, the most rational way to handle plastic waste is to recycle it as a secondary technogenic raw material.
