ABOUT FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF APPLICATION OF METHODS FOR INCREASING OIL PRODUCTION FROM RESERVOIR OIL
Annotation. The consumption of petroleum products in the world continues to increase, but the efficiency of oil recovery from reservoirs as a whole remains insufficient. So, the average oil recovery factor (AOF) in different regions of the world ranges from 0.25 to 0.4, i.e. most of the initial geological reserves of hydrocarbons remain in the bowels of the Earth. According to the text, the most relevant are tasks of creating and applying new methods for increasing oil recovery (MIO), which can significantly increase oil production. On the anvil reviewed experience of using thermal, gas and chemical MIO in the fields of foreign countries. The main attention is paid to chemical methods, which are one of the promising areas of oil field development. In conclusion, the tasks of further research in the field of application of MIO associated with their environmental impact on the environment and rational nature management are set.
