DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSALS TO REDUCE ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE POLLUTION ON THE EXAMPLE OF ROSSETI CENTER AND VOLGA BRANCH OF UDMURTENERGO

Annotation. Noise pollution is one of the most important environmental problems of modern cities in the world. The population is constantly exposed to high-level noise both in the premises of residential and public buildings and on the territory of streets, residential neighborhoods and districts. Power transformers of substations are one of the sources of noise for industrial areas and the surrounding area. Transformer noise is caused by vibration of the active part, as well as fans of the cooling system. Significant influence on transformer noise is caused by resonance phenomena occurring in its individual elements. This paper considers the impact of noise pollution on the environment and humans, as well as ways to reduce the noise impact. Noise protection measures and types of noise-absorbing structures are considered. The estimation of noise influence is carried out and the way of noise protective actions by means of installation of noise screens is proposed.

Keywords: noise pollution, noise protection measures, noise screen, noise-absorbing structures, power transformers of substations.
