EMISSIONS FROM THE REFINING INDUSTRY: THEIR SOURCES AND METHODS OF THEIR REFINING
M.N.M. Al Basisi, S.A. Lipaev

Annotation. Refineries consume large amounts of fuel in petroleum refining operations in order to produce water vapor and generate electricity. The combustion of fuels results in the emission of gases that are harmful to human health and the environment. It is necessary to reduce these emissions, which will have a positive impact on the environment.

Key words: wells, oil reservoirs, process equipment, oil and gas flares, gas purging and subsequent release, oil spill burning
