PECULIARITIES OF TRANSBOUNDARY WASTE TRANSPORTATION

Annotation. The issue of regulation of international waste management policy is becoming more and more topical. The paper identifies the role of waste transportation among other activities and technological stages of the life cycle of waste management. Different types of transport, by means of which waste transportation can be carried out, as well as the very conditions for waste transportation required by the Russian legislation are considered. The concept of transboundary transportation is disclosed. Normative legal acts regulating transboundary waste transportation in Russia, as well as other major agreements for the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union are noted. The experience of different countries on realization of import and export of wastes is considered. It is concluded that the world market of waste trade is developing.
