PROBLEMS FORECASTING OF OIL AND GAS POTENTIAL OF SUBSOIL ACCORDING TO GEOTHERMY

Abstract. The article deals with the method of geometric forecasting of oil and gas fields. The paper analyzes the works that study thermal fields and their anomalies over oil and gas fields. The problems of geothermal research of hydrocarbon deposits, issues of improving the efficiency of thermometry in monitoring the operation of oil and gas wells are shown, and possible ways of their solutions are given. The necessity of combining geothermal research with other geophysical methods in predicting the oil and gas potential of the subsoil is justified.
