METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AGENT-FREE PURIFICATION OF ACID MINE WATERS

 

Annotation. A method and device for reagent-free purification of acidic mine waters (AMW) are proposed, which are the basis of a closed-cycle economy for mines under «wet» conservation. The characteristic features of pollutants of mine sulfuric acid waters are considered. The implementation of a automated technological complex (АTK) is proposed, which provides high operational reliability due to the use of cavitation effects on the AMW, which allows processing a large volume of water with the least material costs. The proposed technology is aimed at the conversion of metals in ionic form contained in the AMW into an insoluble precipitate using free radicals as oxidants.
