POLICY OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE SVERDLOVSK REGION AIMED AT THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION OF THE POPULATION

Annotation. When forming the environmental strategy of both the state as a whole and each of its subjects, such issues as informing the population, environmental education, fostering environmental culture, consolidating the actions of state authorities, local self-government, public associations and individual citizens come to the fore. Environmental education of the population in the Sverdlovsk region is carried out in the following areas: scientific and practical events (congresses, conferences, round tables, etc.), massive environmental actions «Victory Forest», «All-Russian Day of Forest Planting», subbotniks, etc.), as well as other activities at the expense of the regional budget (environmental lessons for preschoolers and primary schoolchildren, competitions for research projects of students and young scientists, etc.).
