PROBLEMS ARISING DURING THE Fracturing, AND SOLUTION POSSIBILITIES

Annotation. Hydraulic fracturing (HF) is one of the most effective methods for stimulating the inflow and increasing the productivity of wells. Meanwhile, in the implementation of hydraulic fracturing, a positive result is not always achieved. Factors that reduce the efficiency of this process are considered: proppant removal from fractures during well development and operation, formation of proppant plugs in the well filter zone, clogging of the bottomhole formation zone with undecomposed gel, water breakthrough along hydraulic fractures, etc. Technological solutions are given to reduce the negative impact of these factors and increase the effect of hydraulic fracturing over time. The necessity of comprehensive planning of hydraulic fracturing operations is substantiated.

Keywords: hydraulic fracturing, complicating factors, proppant run-out, proppant plugs, gel clogging, water breakthrough, RCP proppants, water restriction.
