ON THE ROLE OF MACHINERY IN THE CREATION OF THE TECHNOSPHERE AND THE PROBLEMS OF ITS WASTE MANAGEMENT
Annotation. The totality of all man-made objects created by man to satisfy his material and spiritual needs, as well as comfortable living, is called the «technosphere». Mechanical engineering is the leading branch of the national economy, which plays an important role in the creation of the technosphere and serves as a tool for its management in terms of organizing rational use of natural resources. At the same time, engineering production is a source of a wide range of solid, liquid, gaseous and energy waste that pollute nature and are not always effectively used as secondary material resources. The key task of modern mechanical engineering is considered, associated with the reduction of the amount of waste, the reduction of their harmful effects on the environment, as well as their processing and use as a «secondary raw material». From the point of view of reducing resource intensity and reducing the load on nature, it is proposed to pay special attention to «recovery production» - so that technologies for bringing recyclable parts to the requirements of design documentation for the purpose of their reuse. The need to improve engineering education in mechanical engineering is also shown.
Key words: technosphere, mechanical engineering, rational nature management, production wastes, low-waste technologies, additive technologies, waste processing, recycling, parts recovery.
